In the fall of 2012, Les jardiniers à bicyclette got their first mascot. His name’s Akamatsu and you can read all about him here.

At the beginning of October, 2012, Les jardiniers à bicyclette bought a 1989 Volkswagen Vanagon that runs on waste vegetable oil (WVO) instead of gasoline. With it, they’ll be touring around North America and starting up branches of the company in other parts of the continent as The Bike Gardeners.

August 31, 2011: we appeared live on the TV show Des kiwis et des hommes with our infamous bike trailer.

On September 15, 2010, at CEGEP Saint-Laurent (a college in Montreal), Ian Christopher Goodman was a speaker at the conference called “Malades au Vélo” (”Crazy about Bikes”). He described what it was like to work using a bicycle.

During the summer of 2010, Les jardiniers à bicyclette traveled the world (in a sense). An article about us was written in the Italian magazine called Gardenia. You can view it here.

On May 23, 2010, we were proud to be a part of Montreal’s Festivelo, doing workshops, having contests and giving away free seeds that were in pots made from newspaper. A bit more information about it is here.

Les jardiniers à bicyclette recently entered the Idea Challenge hosted by the organization called Challenge Your World. Out of 150 contestants worldwide, we came in third place (November 19, 2009). Over the coming months, they will be helping us grow as a company.
